Originally from Arizona, Alina Borchardt (left) began her dance training at a young age in Salt Lake City, Utah. She moved to California in 2008 to pursue majors in Dance and Biology at SCU, where she worked with Abigail Hosein, Kristin Kusanovich, David Popalisky, and Micha Scott. Alina is currently in her last year of dental school at University of the Pacific. Alina credits dance with opening the door to the field of dentistry; a field that blends her love of medicine together with the grace and artistry she cultivated through years of dance training. She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to dance again in her first season with fcdc.
