Skye’s own lyrical, modern choreography was last seen in her senior thesis recital, “Healing in Shades of Being” at Santa Clara University. Since graduating, she has focused primarily on her musical theatre career, only occasionally teaching workshops or choreographing productions in the broadway style for youth programs around the Bay Area. Originally trained in classical ballet, Skye has also studied modern, tap, jazz, broadway, and contemporary styles of dance. Through the course of her training, she has worked with many talented local choreographers including David Popalisky, Karyn Connell, Kristin Kusanovich, Claire Calalo, and Lauren Baines.

When she’s not onstage, Skye can be found working on original music.  A sometimes singer-songwriter, you may have heard her original song “love, a word” at for change dance collective’s performance of “love notes on fragile prayers” in 2013.
